The Remains of Dahlia is a short first-person investigative psychological horror game about a husband trying to uncover the truth behind his wife’s disappearance. STORY In the early 2010s, a housewife known as “Dahlia” was reported missing after running away from home. Her husband, Bowo, filed a report with the police, but the investigation yielded no results. With no clear answers, Bowo decided to investigate the case on his own. FEATURES The Remains of Dahlia delivers an investigative experience through its authentic setting, where players will explore a small house and its surrounding area located in a quiet, remote suburban neighborhood in Indonesia. With its old camcorder-style visuals, the game evokes a chilling atmosphere reminiscent of a documentary capturing real events. Through investigative gameplay, players are encouraged to search every corner, uncover hidden clues, and piece together the truth behind Dahlia’s disappearance while feeling the tense and oppressive silence that lingers within every step. Every decision and interpretation of the evidence will lead to multiple possible endings. The Remains of Dahlia is a short game, designed to be completed roughly in under one hour.
